Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from k9bridle through our websites.
In these terms, “k9bridle”, “we”, “us” and “our” means k9bridle, and “you” and “your” means the customer.
By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
1. Our Products
k9bridle manufactures dog collars, leads and related dog-walking products.
Our products are designed for their stated and intended purpose. Product descriptions will provide information about the materials, construction and intended use where appropriate.
Because some of our products are handmade or individually finished, there may be minor variations in appearance, colour, texture or finish. Such variations are not necessarily defects.
Photographs are provided as a guide and colours may appear slightly different depending on the customer’s screen or device.
2. Measurements And Fit
Where a product is available in standard sizes, you are responsible for selecting the appropriate size for your dog.
We recommend measuring your dog carefully and following the sizing information provided on our website.
A collar must be fitted correctly and checked regularly to ensure that it remains secure and comfortable.
Where we agree to make a product to a customer’s specific requirements, we will use the information and measurements supplied by the customer. We cannot accept responsibility for an incorrect fit resulting from inaccurate measurements or information supplied by the customer.
3. Custom-Made Products
Occasionally, k9bridle may agree to manufacture a product specifically to a customer’s individual requirements.
Where a product is made specifically for you, your statutory cancellation rights may be affected where the law provides an applicable exception for personalised or bespoke goods.
Before placing an order for a custom-made product, please make sure that all measurements, specifications and other requirements supplied to us are correct.
Custom-made products remain covered by applicable statutory rights relating to faults, defects and conformity.
4. Placing An Order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected.
We will send an order confirmation acknowledging your order.
If we are unable to accept or fulfil an order, for example because an item is unavailable or there is an obvious error in the product description or price, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund where payment has already been taken.
5. Prices And Payment
All prices are displayed on our website in the applicable currency.
Any applicable taxes, duties, delivery charges or other additional charges will be displayed or explained during the ordering process where applicable.
For international orders, the customer may be responsible for import duties, taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Payment must be received before an order is dispatched unless otherwise agreed.
6. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on our website.
Delivery times are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been agreed.
Once your order has been dispatched, delivery times may vary depending on the destination, postal service, courier, customs procedures and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
For international orders, delays may occur due to customs processing.
You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address.
7. International Orders
k9bridle accepts orders from customers worldwide.
Customers outside the UK should be aware that their country may impose import duties, taxes, customs charges or other fees.
Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer unless we expressly state otherwise at the time of purchase.
Customers are also responsible for ensuring that products ordered are permitted to be imported and used in their country.
8. Cancellation And Returns
Where you purchase standard, non-customised goods from us online as a consumer, you may have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Where the statutory cancellation right applies, you must notify us within the applicable cancellation period and return the goods in accordance with our returns instructions.
You are responsible for taking reasonable care of goods while they are in your possession.
Where permitted by law, we may take account of any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Certain personalised or custom-made products may be excluded from statutory cancellation rights where the relevant legal exception applies.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where goods are faulty, defective, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable consumer-law requirements.
9. Faulty Or Defective Products
We manufacture our products with care and aim to provide products of a high standard.
If you believe that a product is faulty or defective, please contact us as soon as possible at: sales@k9bridle.com
Please provide your order number and, where possible, photographs showing the problem.
We may ask you to return the product so that we can inspect it.
If the product does not conform to your statutory consumer rights, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances and the applicable law, this may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
10. K9bridle 6-Month Guarantee
In addition to your statutory consumer rights, k9bridle provides a 6-month guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase.
If a product develops a fault during the six-month guarantee period and the fault is determined to have resulted from a manufacturing or workmanship defect, we will, subject to your statutory rights, provide an appropriate remedy which may include repair or replacement.
The k9bridle guarantee does not cover:
- normal wear and tear;
